911 Restoration of Central Arkansas is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Construction Project Manager. This hybrid role requires strong administrative project management skills, subcontractor coordination, and a deep, hands-on understanding of residential construction trades.
The ideal candidate can walk into a finished room and immediately recognize if the trim, paint, or drywall isn’t up to professional standards because they have successfully performed the work themselves.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight & Management: Manage multiple residential and light commercial rebuild projects from initial scope through final completion while maintaining schedules and budgets.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Source, vet, schedule, and manage specialized subcontractors while ensuring quality workmanship, cleanliness, and deadline compliance.
- Customer Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners and business owners throughout the rebuilding process. Provide exceptional customer service, regular updates, and manage expectations.
- Quality Assurance: Perform field inspections and verify quality workmanship in:
- Drywall installation and Level 4/5 finishing
- Interior production and detail painting
- Trim, casing, and crown molding installation
- Cabinet installation and leveling
- Flooring installation (LVP, tile, hardwood)
- Light structural framing
- Office Operations: Maintain accurate project files, schedules, and documentation from the Central Arkansas office (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
Position Requirements
- Construction Management Experience: Proven success managing residential or commercial construction/remodel projects, budgets, and schedules.
- Trade Knowledge: Extensive practical knowledge of framing, drywall, painting, trim, cabinetry, and flooring. You must understand the work in order to effectively manage those performing it.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to navigate difficult conversations and effectively manage subcontractors.
- Availability: Monday–Friday office schedule (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) with willingness to participate in an occasional weekend on-call rotation.
