How do hurricanes work?
A hurricane is a tropical-weather event with an extreme intensity that revolves in a broad spiral manner. Although a level 5 hurricane has the maximum wind speed and direction, a level 1 storm has less wind velocity, there is no limitation to the amount of damage that can be caused. Hurricane Ian is a category 4 and by measure of sustained winds at landfall, Ian is in an eight-way tie for the fifth strongest storm to strike the United States according to Statista.
